Month nine: Eight months and counting

Madeus turns 8 months tomorrow and he

still has no teeth (disregard early blog when I thought I saw one coming in).

has much more hair and it is even blonder than before.

still has blue eyes.

sits up very straight (like in a lotus yoga pose).

has learned one sign, we think, (for milk) and uses it every time he wants anything.

is eating us out of house and home (banana, yogurt and sweet potatoes are his favorite).

giggles like crazy when you kiss his neck.

nurses only four times a day now.

is the most impatient person when it comes to food.

likes water fed to him out of a straw or a glass cup.

got his first bruise this week when he fell back on his head.

likes his book that has fuzzy things he can touch.

eats cheerios all by himself.

seems less nervous about going to other people again, maybe stranger anxiety was short lived.

absolutely loves the pool and even goes under the water.

eliminated his middle nap.

is showing signs he is getting ready to crawl (or else he is mastering downward dog yoga pose).

holds one foot in the air when he sits in a chair.

coos like a pigeon when he is excited.
