The top three things I love about my son right now: 1) Every time he gets any kind of injury, however big or small, in order to recooperate he must explain the entire incident, hand gestures and all, in his "language" of course.
2)We are putting his pacifier on his shelf to be"protected" by his angel figurine untill naptime and bedtime. He loves and hates this. He will tell you "uh-uh" and shake his head when you ask him to put his pacifier up there but he will kiss the angel. Now he insists his "ruff ruff" stuffed dog accompany the pacifier on the shelf. He goes into his room several times a day to discuss the situation, pointing, climbing, and yelling for his beloved objects. He even sometimes takes a "night night" just so he can hold the two of them in his bed.
3)He loves to have his feet rubbed with lotion, continuing his foot obsession. We learned this in baby and parent yoga. He even sat on top of another baby to get his feet rubbed again by the instructor. Now, we do it at home, on the plane, and in the train. It instantly calms him down.
